Recently, Dr. Iszkula and his team had the chance to represent Murray & Iszkula Orthodontics at the 2018 Annual Session of the American Association of Orthodontics. In other words, Murray & Iszkula Orthodontics went to the AAO! This session took place in wonderful Washington, D.C. from May 4-8, and gave orthodontists all over the country the chance to hang out with friends and colleagues while learning from many expert presenters, who touched on the latest research and clinical experience related to topics such as facial esthetics,TADs/anchorage, biomaterials, Class II and Class III correction, retention, aligner therapy, and more.
The AAO meeting is always an excellent opportunity for orthodontists to reunite, share, and grow together as professionals. This year there were hundreds of lectures on a variety of topics and an enormous exhibit hall featuring over 3,000 exhibitors. It was an extremely fun experience, but also an important one as the doctors who attend meetings like these are able to continue improving the experience and orthodontic outcomes for their patients.
