The Center for Disease Control and Prevention estimates that over 19% of children in the United States, between the ages of 2 and 19, have untreated cavities. The problem doesn’t end there.

Poor dental health can result in malnutrition, difficulty sleeping, lost school hours (due to appointment and follow-up appointments), and general discomfort.

Prioritizing preventative dental and orthodontic care is one of the greatest gifts you can give your children!

develop healthy dental habits!

  • Begin regular dental visits by age one! Dentists will use the opportunity to cover proper brushing and flossing techniques and answer any questions you might have.
  • Use fluoride! Drinking a lot of water and using a kid-friendly toothpaste with fluoride will go a long way.
  • Set up an alignment assessment for your child with an orthodontist by age seven. Early action can significantly lessen orthodontic costs in the future.

preventative measures are key!

The most effective oral health care for you and your child is preventative. Routine cleanings on top of regular brushing and flossing is the best way to have a healthy (and therefore happy!) mouth.

Be proactive about your child’s oral health!
